Nina Barry

Nina Barry and her art have been the subject of international media attention including features by The Associated Press, The Miami Herald, New York Press, The Detroit Free Press, The Dallas Morning News as well as prominent blogs such as Rocketboom and Gothamist.

Nina was born in Moscow, Russia and raised in Boulder, Colorado, where she learned about snowboarding and the benefits of wheat grass. She moved to New York to attend Pratt Institute where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Nina later received her Master of Fine Arts in Painting from the New York Academy of Art. She has also attended the New York Studio School, Scuola Internazionale di Grafica in Venice, Italy, and the Surikov Insitute of the Arts in Moscow.

Nina's work is in private collections in the United States, Russia, Germany, and the United Kingdom. She currently resides in Denver, Colorado where she is also a drawing and color theory professor at the Metropolitan State College of Denver and the Creative Director of Our Stereo, a design consultancy.
